Salary Guides
Rwanda uses the Rwandan Franc (RWF). English, French, and Kinyarwanda are all official languages, with English now dominant in business and education following Rwanda's switch from Francophone to Anglophone orientation in 2009. Rwanda is frequently cited as one of Africa's most business-friendly environments — ranking highly in ease of doing business surveys and maintaining very low corruption. The government actively courts tech companies, with Kigali Innovation City (KIC) hosting regional headquarters of major firms. PAYE is straightforward with just three brackets and is administered by RRA (Rwanda Revenue Authority).
